Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you get your materials from?

At Asmbl Joinery, we source our materials from top suppliers to ensure the highest quality for our projects. We have established strong partnerships with Laminex and Polytec in Canberra, known for their durable laminates, board materials, and decorative surfaces. For our hardware needs, we work closely with Blum, renowned for their innovative and reliable hardware solutions. Additionally, we can source materials from other suppliers within the Canberra region to meet specific project requirements. This approach allows us to maintain a versatile and high-quality selection for all our joinery works.

Can I visit Asmbl?

Certainly! While Asmbl Joinery's workshop is located at 36 Hoskins St, Mitchell, it's important to note that this site is exclusively a production facility and does not currently feature a showroom. What’s the Quoting & Ordering Process at Asmbl?

To get your project underway with Asmbl Joinery, the first step is to contact us for a consultation. This initial meeting is crucial as it involves measuring your space and discussing your specific requirements. Based on this consultation, our team will provide a detailed quote and a preliminary design for your project.

Once you're satisfied with the design and we've fine-tuned any details, we'll commence the manufacturing process. You will receive a comprehensive quote with a full description of the job and an invoice for a 40% deposit. Payment of this deposit secures your project's place in our production schedule, allows us to allocate the necessary materials, and sets a timeline for completion.

For all joinery projects, we ensure everything is to your satisfaction by sending a final production drawing for your approval before we start the actual crafting of your joinery. This process ensures that what we create aligns perfectly with your vision and requirements.
